She got married to Nathan Gutmann (born in Leipzig 12.11.1902) on March 28, 1930 Berlin where they lived. Their first daughter Rita was born in Berlin 1932, followed by Suzanne, born in Berlin July 22, 1933. In November of 1938, after Kristallnacht, the family fled to Antwerp, Belgium, where a third daughter, Silvia Ruth, was born on May 5, 1939. Hitler invaded Belgium in 1940, after which the family fled again, this time to the Pyrenees, still the Free Zone, in France. In August of 1942, Malcha and her three daughters were arrested by the Vichy police and shipped to camp Rivesaltes, a transit camp in the south of France. On September 13, 1942, refusing to take her children with her to the so-called work-camp, Malcha Gutmann, a beautyful redhaired lady aged 35, was taken to Drancy, a deportation site, 45 minutes from Paris, and then on convoy 34, in a cattle car arrived in Auschwitz on September 16, where she was murdered. Nathan Gutmann, six months later also met the same fate. The three daughters arrived in America in April 1946. Rita married Jack Beigelman and had three children, Mark, Samuel and Ilana. Rita died at age 61 in 1993. Suzanne married Chaim Ringel and has three children, Steven, Nathan and Michael. She is divorced and lives in Miami/Florida, surrounded by her children and three grandchildren. Silvia Ruth, who took back her fathers name after her divorce in 1992, has one son, David. For the past year she has lived in Berlin, where after a five-year bureaucratic struggle, she was granted her parents stolen citizenship. Malcha’s parents Naftali and Schifra Kleinmann and her sister Jeanette Feldmann were expelled from Fürth and killed by the Nazis in Poland.” – Im August 2003 neu aufgenommen, im Mai 2009 auf den Gedenktafeln hinzugefügt.
